Elephant on a Tightrope Beajolais Villages Nouveau made its first appearance in the U.S with this year's release of the Beaujolais wine harvest. A perfect expression of its terroir, Elephant on a Tightrope Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2006 was selected from a family-run vineyard in southern Beaujolais. This domain practices green harvesting, which results in better ripening and the development of more numerous and mature flavors. Unpretentious, this wine is the perfect match for friendly get togethers, parties or casual dinners.

Bottled in 750 ml format, this year's vintage features a brightly colored graphic collage reminiscent of classic French posters. It is imported to the US exclusively by Vinecrest Importers, a division of Brotherhood, America’s Oldest Winery.

TASTING NOTES : Raspberry and red fruit on the nose, light and fruity on the palate.
